Wesley Radcliffe — Manager Spotlight

Meet Wesley

Wesley is an Engineering Manager II on the App Platform team at Intuit Credit Karma. His team keeps the engine running for millions of customers every single day. Wesley and his team sit at the intersection of reliability, innovation and scale — supporting the frameworks that let product teams ship faster than ever. Whether they're rolling out new platform capabilities, integrating cutting-edge AI tools, or swooping in when things go sideways, Wesley and his team are always in motion.

What's your role, and how's your team helping power financial progress for Credit Karma members?

What got you interested in software engineering and the tech world?

What does your team's day-to-day and AI-First engineering workflows look like?

How do you ensure your team stays customer-centric, while building automated AI solutions? How do you keep human intelligence incorporated into your work?

Human intelligence remains the primary intelligence on our team. Our job is to accelerate other Credit Karma teams by providing a well-designed, feature-rich platform, which means we don't just focus on 'going fast' for the sake of it. We stay customer-centric by working closely with the internal teams we support — listening to their needs, anticipating their technical blockers and then leveraging agentic AI tooling to execute rapidly, once we have a clear strategy. As I always remind my team: velocity is speed and direction!

Looking back at your time here, what achievements or projects are you most proud of?

I've been blessed to be a part of quite a few big projects at Credit Karma. I've been a local captain and showrunner for our Global Engineering Days hackathon, and that event is always amazing because you get to see the talented people we work with really flex their skills. I'm equally proud of the time I've spent managing the engineering teams for our Personal Loans vertical. We built a lot of really awesome tools to help people manage their debt and find financial freedom, and I'm excited to see what that team does next.
